Here’s the skinny: I, Don Diego, comedian guy, do solemly swear to uphold certain principles with this blog.
PRINCIPLE ONE: this blog will try not to be gay, and yes I do understand the irony of this sentance. (by “gay” I do not mean homosexuals. Homosexuality is damn fine with me. I mean “gay” as in “this blog entry about the new bar across the street is sooooo gay. ” That is the type of gayoisty that my blog will not stand for. Now that I think about it, if my blog fucks another blog in the ass, I guess I wouldn’t stand for that either)
PRINCIPLE TWO: this blog will always try to be funny. (I know I say try alot, but it makes an important distinction. Don’t go all yoda on me and be like “Do or do not do; there is no try.” F-that hater bullshit. Am I funny? Yes. Am I always funny? Good god no! That’s the chance you take when reading a comedy blog. Sometimes you get Woody Allen, other times you get the older unfunny Woody Allen. But unlike Woody, I will always give you a genuine effort…did I mention that Woody Allen sucks yet.)
PRINCIPLE THREE: this blog will be true to it’s simple uncreative title. (This is a blog about the comedy/culture/nightlife/whatever else I want to talk about in NYC. I will only write about things happening in Manhattan, BROOKLYN!!! (fires gun into the air), Queens, the Bronx (barks twice), and Staten Island (hypothetically). So if you live in another area, you’re pretty screwed.
PRINCIPLE FOUR: this blog will have a new entry Sunday. (for those of you who think this is lazy, you’re right. If you think that is lazy check this out: this counts as an entry.)
And that’s about it. The blog will get progressively better and better as I get more and more competent with the interweb. Hope you guys enjoy it, feedback is always encouraged, and see you next sunday.
